She carries Father's Shard — a piece of black glass that hums when brought near other Shards of the Pattern — and leads the quest to understand the Fray after Alira's death. Practical and bold, she solves the ancient riddle to enter First Root Chamber beneath Drelmere by thinking simply where others overthink. Her decision to ring the Bell Tree's bells in the spiral sequence Mayor Halrick Vann had quietly worked out is the moment the Second Shard is recovered for the world.
